New Principal at San Elizario High School

Mr. Troy Enriquez San Elizario High School Principal

 

SAN ELIZARIO, TX – The San Elizario Independent School District (SEISD) is excited to announce Mr. Troy Enriquez as the new principal at San Elizario High School. Mr. Troy Enriquez holds a Masters of Education in Educational Administration and Leadership from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from the University of Texas at Austin.

 

Principal Enriquez states of his appointment, “The opportunity to lead at San Elizario High School and in the district of San Elizario is an honor and a privilege.” He adds, “Our campus will be focused on displaying our students' academic, fine arts, and athletic achievements and spotlighting the top-tier instruction provided to students daily.”

 

Mr. Enriquez previously served as the Coordinator of School Improvement at the Ann M. Garcia-Enriquez Middle School and as Principal of the Mesa Hills Academy and College Preparatory. He has ten years of experience as a teacher and school administrator.

 

Dr. Rogelio Segovia, Associate Superintendent, states, “We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Enriquez as the new principal of SEHS, and we are incredibly excited to witness the remarkable achievements that lie ahead under his leadership.” San Elizario High School (SEHS) services 1022 students in grades 9th through 12th with approximately eighty teachers.

 

Principal Enriquez takes over SEHS, which, in the most recent 2023 U.S. News Best High School World Report, ranks SEHS 11th in El Paso County. SEHS is well known for its athletic success, with three soccer state championships and six cross-country state championships. Most recently, in 2022, the Career and Technology Department earned a state title by the Quiz Bowl Team. Mr. Enriquez states, “Our campus will be focused on displaying our students' academic, fine arts, and athletic achievements and spotlighting the top-tier instruction provided to students daily.

 

Mrs. April Marioni was the previous principal of San Elizario High School and was recently promoted to Special Education Director with the San Elizario Independent School District.
