Student Outcomes
Overview
These words describe the mindset adopted by those committed to improving student outcomes. The San Elizario ISD School Board of Trustees, in collaboration with the Superintendent, has created student outcome goals and goal progress measures aligned to the School District’s Vision.

The Board's student outcome goals and goal progress measures, as aligned with the school system vision, are:
Student Outcome Goal 1: Students in 3rd grade Mathematics through Algebra I performing at Masters Level on STAAR/EOC will increase from 19% to 38% by June 2024.
- Goal Progress Measure (GPM) 1.1: The percentage of students in Pre-K through 2nd Grade who perform at the Masters Level as measured by the iStation Mathematics Ability Index will increase from 10% in October 2019 to 38% by June 2024.
- Goal Progress Measure (GPM) 1.2: The percentage of 8th grade students who perform at the Masters Level for 8th Grade Mathematics on the District Benchmark will increase from 3% in December 2018 to 38% by June 2024.
- Goal Progress Measure (GPM) 1.3: The percentage of high school students who perform at the Masters Level for Algebra I on the District Benchmark will increase from 7% in January 2019 to 38% by June 2024.
Student Outcome Goal 2: Students in 3rd grade Reading through English II performing at Masters Level on STAAR/EOC will increase from 10% to 30% by June 2024.
- Goal Progress Measure (GPM) 2.1: The percentage of students in PreK-2nd Grade who perform at the Masters level as measured by the iStation Overall Reading Ability Index will increase from 11% in October 2019 to 30% by June 2024.
- Goal Progress Measure (GPM) 2.2: The percentage of 8th grade students who perform at the Masters Level for Reading on the District Benchmark will increase from 15% in December 2018 to 30% by June 2024.
- Goal Progress Measure (GPM) 2.3: The percentage of high school students who perform at the Masters Level for Reading on the District Benchmark will increase from 3% in January 2019 to 30% by June 2024.
Student Outcome Goal 3: Students graduating college, career, and military ready will increase from 65% to 81% by June 2024.
- Goal Progress Measure (GPM) 3.1: The percentage of 8th grade students who meet the college-ready criteria on the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) in one or more subjects will increase from 34% in June 2018 to 50% by June 2024.
- Goal Progress Measure (GPM) 3.2: The percentage of 12th grade students enrolled in a Mathematics or English college prep course will increase from 31% in May 2018 to 41% by June 2024.
