Teacher Incentive Allotment TIA

Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)

HB 3 established the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) to recognize effective teachers on three different levels:
Recognized, Exemplary and Master. These teacher designations generate additional teacher-focused allotment funding for districts in order for them to reward their top performers.

About TIA

The Texas Education Agency’s Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program is dedicated to recruiting, supporting and retaining highly effective teachers in all schools, with particular emphasis on high-needs and rural schools. This program provides a pathway to financially recognize top teachers and serves as a great opportunity to honor the hard work and proven success of our San Elizario ISD teaching staff.

Rewarding Teacher excellence in Texas
The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was created by the Texas Legislature as part of House Bill 3 to provide a realistic pathway for top teachers to earn six-figure salaries and to help attract and retain highly effective teachers at traditionally hard-to-staff schools.
