Our Mission Statement
The San Elizario Independent School District Adult Education, through Literacy, Citizenship, Basic Education, GED, job training, productive employment, and life-long learning, in partnership with public and private agencies provides opportunities for educationally disadvantaged adults which will enhance their professional, educational, and personal skills to achieve self-sufficiency to compete in the 21st Century.

Classes Offered
- English as a Second Language - Four (4) levels of ESL Language instruction are offered to students with limited or no proficiency in the English Language.
- General Education Development (GED) - English instruction in Adult Secondary Education (grades 9th through 12th) helps students in obtaining a high school equivalency certificate.
- Citizenship - Instruction in U.S. History and U.S. Government is offered to adults preparing to become permanent residents or U.S. Citizens at their appropriate instructional level.
