We, the students of San Elizario High School, in order to establish a representative system of self-government, to ensure students have an effective role in high school government, to encourage the development of leaders, to stimulate an awareness of our role in the community and the world, to improve the cultural, social and physical welfare of the student body, and to promote the general welfare of this institution and our community, do hereby ordain and establish the San Elizario High School Student Council.
